Southampton musician Amy da Silva, who has featured on both Sounds of Southampton Vol 1 and Vol2 Albums, and her track THINK TWICE have been nominated for the Youth Music Best Original Track Award (Solo) sponsored by TikTok.
Amy has been working with SoCo Music Project,a not-for-profit music organisation that provides inclusive music-making opportunities and supports the music-making sector across Hampshire. It was setup in Southampton in 2008 and is supported by Youth Music, Arts Council England, Youth Endowment Fund and PRS Foundation.

Last year’s winners have achieved significant success since, including TEE, who won the Lyricist Award in 2022 is now part of Little Simz’ touring crew and Sans Soucis, winner of Original Track Award (solo artist) who has signed a deal with Decca Records.
Winners will be announced at The Youth Music Awards, in association with Hal Leonard Europe, on 19th October 2022 at Troxy in London. This trailblazing event will showcase the next generation of musical talent.
