An evening of award-winning films showcasing the planet’s most spectacular landscapes and daring feats of courage and human resilience – the Kendal Mountain Tour 2025 – comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 7 May.
The programme of films explores biking; regaining control by reconnecting with nature; ski-touring; an attempt by three young men with life-changing spinal injuries to cross an ice cap without support; and running.
The evening includes a live on-stage Q&A with Guest Speaker: NHS GP and expedition doctor, Dr Will Duffin – who specialises in delivering medical care in wild and remote places. He will be sharing some of his adventures and advice on staying safe while on expedition.
This is an evening for everyone – from seasoned explorers to those who simply appreciate nature; and promises to inspire a sense of adventure and a renewed respect for Earth.
