Young audiences and their grown-ups are in for surprising sounds, smells, and silly science when Rude Science Live visits Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 6 April.

Described as the naughtiest, funniest and most revolting science show in the world, Rude Science Live is packed with outrageous and disgusting science experiments – fart machines, snot cocktails, pee-powered fireworks, ear-wax-oozing mannequins and the like – designed to excite young audiences while secretly constructed with the school curriculum in mind to inspire them to enjoy science.

Rude Science Live explores complex biology, physics and chemistry via signature stunts and the presenter’s encyclopaedic science knowledge, and celebrates the bodily science essential to life so audiences should expect enormous bottoms and vast whoopee cushions!

A revolutionary, high-tech and highly explosive show, Rude Science Live is brought to the stage by award-winning TV presenter, author, broadcaster and live-show performer, Stefan Gates – well known for his countless TV series including the CBBC shows, Gastronauts and Incredible Edibles; and books, Fartology and Science You Can Eat. He is world-renowned for his educational shows designed to inspire young people; and which have seen him perform at theatres, science festivals and schools across the UK.

Audiences should prepare themselves for smells, explosions, stage smoke and latex balloons. Following each performance there will be a post-show meet and greet.

Rude Science Live will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 6 April at 11.30am and 3pm. For ages 5 – 14+ (younger children welcome – but there is sensory stimulation!). For more information or to book tickets visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
