Fans of true crime will enjoy the talk, Murder: Staged, which comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 10 January.
The evening will explore real-life crime scenes and the lies within them, and share expertise from the people who investigate them to discover the truth.
It will examine the ‘CSI effect’, which has created a new type of killer – one that is forensically aware and out to mislead an investigation – and the five crime scene stagers – the planner, creator, cleaner, concealer and inflictor.
The talk will feature forensics, reconstructed real-life crime walk-throughs and take a dive into cases that have not been seen on stage live before.
Plus, there will be a live psychopath test on the night to discover if the theory that 90% of people believe they can get away with murder is true!
The talk is presented by research psychologist and psychopathy expert (true crime writer and serial killer expert!), Cheish Merryweather– best known for her sell-out UK tour with talks including How To Raise A Serial Killer, How To Spot A Psychopath and Inside The Mind Of A Serial Killer.
She has also worked with the BBC, Madame Tussauds London and Crime Con UK, and appeared as a guest lecturer at universities and colleges across the country – offering her educational talks free of charge to educate students on the darker side of psychology in a bid to help prevent future crime.
