New theatre piece to be created at The Point with the local community

Local members of the community can get involved in a new piece of theatre, which will be co-created in collaboration with Bunkhum Ensemble, The Point, Eastleigh and The Dome, Brighton.

Bunkum Ensemble – a new theatre company based at The Point in Eastleigh – are looking to meet creative people from the area, who want to get involved in the making of a new show, Honey Fungus – a show about nature, connection, relationships and a huge fungus that lives underneath our feet.

Over the next nine months they will be working with Bearface Theatre in Eastleigh and Brighton People’s Theatre in Brighton to create a show made by people across the south coast.

Did you study theatre at school, but haven’t done it since?  Maybe you’ve never done it before and don’t know where to start, or maybe you’ve been looking for a creative outlet, but not sure where to find it. Maybe you’ve never done any theatre, but you just love fungus, plants, symbiosis or the idea of this show.

If you are 18+ and have a SO or PO postcode The Point want to meet you.
