The Point and The Berry Theatre are bringing a high number of diverse events and entertainment this Autumn, with some of the best talent nationally and internationally.
The sister venues offer a programme of comedy, family shows, theatre, music, dance, and film, securely rooting itself as the place to go for a quality and varied experience for all ages.
Big name comedians are hitting the venue’s stages from September to November, including Joe Wilkinson, Ed Byrne, Ruby Wax, Dave Gorman, Mark Simmons, Omid Djalili, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Rich Hall, Matt Forde, and many more.
Exciting and magical opportunities for the whole family await, with a selection of thrilling live performance and activities.
Amazing Animals (12 October) and The King’s Polar Bear (29 October) are a sure win for animal lovers. While Curious Investigators (1 November) and A Winter’s Tail (5 December) will take your little ones on an interactive journey.
Plenty of half-term fun can be had with pumpkin carving, spooky stories and a Halloween party, and theatre lovers can enjoy hilarious musical productions, Bowjangles in Dracula in Space (18 October) and Murder for Two (14 November).
Hancock’s Half Hour: The Lost TV Episodes takes to the stage on 8 November, and a varied selection of musical tributes are on offer, including The Take That Experience (12 October), A Head Full of Coldplay (19 October), The Era’s Experience (30 October) and Forever Elton (9 November). Audiences can also jump into the 60s and 70s with Twist and Shout: The 60s Show (30 November) or The Dolly Show (20 September).
Enter the festive season with the classic A Christmas Carol (22 November) with Colin Baker and Peter Purves, or try Sh!t Theatre’s Original Sing-A-Long-Muppet-Christmas Carol (3 December), or an alternative night out with A Christmas Evening of Burlesque (6 – 7 December). Ballet also takes to the stage with a festive dose of dance in family favourite, Nutcracker the Ballet (7 December).
Not-to-miss festive highlights also include, There’s A Monster in Your Christmas Show (14 – 24 December) – based on Tom Fletcher’s beloved, Who’s in your Book series.
Plus, The Point and the House of Many Moons are presenting Cinderella’s Wellies (21 – 31 December) – A time-twisting fairy tale adventure brought to you by Eastleigh’s very own exceptionally talented creatives and community. Cinderella’s Wellies will also include a local community cast for aspiring performers aged 16+, rooting itself as the local festive show for the community of Eastleigh and beyond.
