Mayflower Theatre and MAST Mayflower Studios are pleased to announce an array of summer activities that all of the local community can get involved in.

Westquay: Disney’s Aladdin Giant Lamp – Now until Sunday 18 August 2024

Before Disney’s Aladdin flies onto Mayflower Theatre’s stage this September, there is an opportunity to grab a photo with the giant lamp in Westquay on Level 2 behind the lifts until Sunday 18 August 2024.

The lamp itself is the size of a small car. A QR code will also be displayed on the lamp base which can be scanned for a chance to win tickets to see the blockbuster show during it’s limited run at Mayflower Theatre.

Disney’s Aladdin performance at Southampton Pride 2024 – Saturday 24 August 2024

On Saturday 24 August 2024 at Southampton Pride, Aaron Elijah Patel from Disney’s Aladdin will be performing ‘Proud of Your Boy’ in the afternoon on the main stage, located in Guildhall Square.

Watch the performance and be transported to a Whole New World with Disney magic at this free for all event.

Support young people from the community in the Mayflower Summer Youth Project – Friday 16 – Saturday 17 August 2024

Go along and support 162 young cast members, 3 young production arts participants and 7 young filmmaker participants in the annual Summer Youth Project.

This year the show is Bugsy Malone and it will be performed at Mayflower Theatre from 16 – 17 August 2024.

MAST Mayflower Studios Open Day and Family Open Day – Thursday 22 – Friday 23 August 2024

The Open Days at MAST Mayflower Studios, taking place on Thursday 22 August 2024 and Friday 23 August 2024 will allow the public to explore the multiple studio spaces, behind the scene areas and take part in a range of activities designed for teens and adults.

Activities on the day include taster workshops for their Youth Theatre, backstage tours, a community art installation and a Come and Sing with resident partners, OperaUpClose.
