Popular TV and radio presenter, Clive Anderson, presents an evening exploring a guest’s personal wonders of the world when Clive Anderson’s My Seven Wonders comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 14 June.
For the first time, Anderson presents on stage the live version of his hit podcast, My Seven Wonders with Clive Anderson, whereby he invites guests to choose their own personal seven wonders of the world – from culinary delights to train journeys. Previous guests have included Stephen Fry, John Bishop and Shappi Khorsandi, and on 14 June he will be joined by comic performer, Eshaan Akbar.
Akbar has appeared on shows such as Sex Education, Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week – becoming the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on these shows. He was also the voice of Rishi Sunak and others on Spitting Image; and hosts his own podcasts, But Where Are You Really From? on BBC Sounds and the award-winning business podcast, Nine Twenty Nine – Akbar holds a Masters in Global Governance and Public Policy. He is also a former Bollywood choreographer! Is there anything he can’t do?
While the legendary host, Anderson, is known for TV shows including Whose Line Is It Anyway, Clive Anderson Talks Back, and radio show, Loose Ends. A comedy writer and experienced event speaker and award ceremony host, he has also brought to the stage his one-man show, Me Macbeth & I – dubbed as funnier than Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy.
The show is presented by So Comedy and Broken Robot Productions who produce live comedy and entertainment shows that tour venues and festivals across the country.
