Jerk Jam Festival returns in this year in June.
The festival is set to take place Saturday 8th June, 2024 at Pinkmead Farm, Botley, Southampton from 11am to midnight.
This year David Rodigan, Goldie Lookin Chain, Fabio & Grooverider, Altern8, and more join the line up.
Jerk Jam Festival has been presenting a selection of the best local, national, and international reggae, roots, dub, drum n’ bass, ska & funk over the years, and been nominated for two national awards “Best UK Grassroots festival” and “Best UK boutique festival”.
From humble backyard beginnings, Jerk Jam has evolved into a fully fledged celebration of Caribbean food, music and good vibes.
Central to the event is the BBQ Battle Ring hosted by south London jerk junkies “White Men Can’t Jerk”. 12 chefs battle it out for the yearly title, serving up amazing grilled food out of a custom built boxing ring from authentic jerk pan BBQs. The free food is distributed amongst the crowds of jerk jammers who flock to see the cook off go down!
The sights, sounds and positive atmosphere captured through the energy of the people throughout the day, the free arts, crafts and fairground rides for young children makes for a special experience.
With the added option of one night of camping adjacent to the festival site, in the heart of Hampshire at £5 per person (kids 8 & under go free). Camper-vans welcome, we have a limited number of spaces available.
