The band that launched British folk-rock kick off a fantastic season of folk this spring at Turner Sims Southampton.
Fairport Convention play a sold-out concert on Thursday 22 February – and there’s more great live music to come.
Belinda O’Hooley, one half of beloved Yorkshire folk duo O’Hooley and Tidow, brings music from her solo album Inversions, plus songs from their back catalogue, on Tuesday 27 February. Mercury prize nominated folk singer and conservationist, Sam Lee performs on Sunday 7 April, bringing songs from his new release Songdreaming. Tuesday 30 April sees a visit from The Breath, with soulful, gutsy songs and gorgeous vocals from Ríoghnach Connolly and Stuart McCallum.
