An open-air adaptation of a David Walliams’ children’s book, Bad Dad, at Itchen Valley Country Park is the highlight of a busy half-term of events at The Point and The Berry Theatre.
Heartbreak Productions presents the warm-hearted tale that follows the highs and lows of a father-son relationship on Sunday 4 June at 4pm, which forms part of the venues’ Live at the Park outdoor programme.
Performances will also take place at Norman Rodaway Sports Ground in Hedge End and Leigh Road Recreation Ground in Eastleigh in August. Tickets are available at £14 for adults and £12 for under 16s, or a family ticket for four is £42.
At The Berry Theatre, Woman Like Me – The Little Mix Show is an exciting, high-energy pop concert suitable for all ages taking place on Thursday 1 June at 5.30pm.
Based on the biggest hits from award-winning girl band, Little Mix, the concert tour also features dance competitions, free giveaways and a meet & greet with the cast after the show. All tickets are priced at £15.
There is also a free, collaborative creation with The Point’s Mega Make Cardboard City, which returns after a successful launch last year from Wednesday 31 May until Saturday 3 June.
Drop in anytime from 10am to 3pm and add your own marvellous creations to the ever-growing mini world of boxes in the venue’s Studio Theatre.
And for those who need a break from the kids for an evening – The Berry Theatre have their regular Comedy Network triple-bill of top comics at on Friday 2 June at 8pm.
This month’s line-up features cabaret legend, Ada Campe, rising star ,Raj Poojara and keyboard-wielding TV regular, Huge Davies. Tickets are available for £15.50 or £12.50 concessions with 4 for 3 tickets on all Comedy Network events.
