Mayflower (Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios) share details of their risk free dance scheme, which is to develop dance audiences within the local community.
The Risk Free offering will provide audiences with the opportunity of trying something they may not otherwise attend, with zero risk. If you don’t like the performance, Mayflower will give you a credit against another show – you must notify the House Manager on the evening of the show to be eligible.

Acosta Danza – Cuban Eclectico 9 – 10 May 2025 Mayflower Theatre
With Cuban Eclectico, the audience will see a group of talented, versatile Cuban dancers showcase works ranging from modern to Afro-Cuban dance: ‘It’s a sample of Cuban life.’ With dancers from both classical and modern dance backgrounds, Acosta mixes these techniques with flamenco, capoeira and hip-hop. The result is Carlos Acosta’s own identity in which the rich Cuban culture clearly emerges. For Cuban Eclectico, Carlos Acosta collaborated with choreographers from around the world who created pieces inspired by Cuban culture, but with their own ‘twist’.
Sadler’s Wells and Universal Music UK present Pete Townshend’s Quadrophenia – A Mod Ballet 18 – 21 June 2025 Mayflower Theatre
A Mod Ballet with a large cast of exceptional dancers, sharp suits, soul music, vespas and parkas but its themes of lost youth, rebellion, the search for belonging and hunger for social change are just as urgent today. Rambert Dance in Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby 20 – 24 May 2025 Mayflower Theatre
Rambert’s thrilling stage adaptation “The Redemption of Thomas Shelby” captures the Peaky story, with stunning performances from Rambert’s dancers and an iconic soundtrack from a live on-stage band. Opening in the trenches of Flanders, a personal story unfolds in post-war industrial Birmingham as the Shelby family navigate the decisions that determine their fate and Tommy is intoxicated by mysterious newcomer, Grace. While Tommy is building his empire, Grace is operating as an undercover agent for Special Branch on a mission to get close to the heart of Tommy’s gang. As the story unfolds, hearts are broken, and revenge is sought.
Dance Consortium presents Cirque Eloize iD RELOADED 23 – 24 September 2025 Mayflower Theatre
Mixing urban dance, daring stunts and dazzling acrobatics. Cirque Éloize iD Reloaded is a ground-breaking and breath-taking West End and international hit, is an intoxicating blend of circus arts and urban dance music; b-boying/b-girling, breakdance, hip-hop and more. The scene is set in the heart of a city, in a public space where people seek refuge and a chance to shed their anonymity: a place where identity is forged and individuality is expressed.
K2CO A Thing of Beauty – A double bill of dance 23 – 24 May 2025 Mayflower Studios
A double bill of beautiful, exhilarating and new dance by award winning choreographer Rosie Kay with her new company, K2CO. Fantasia is inspired by the relationship between music and dance, Fantasia is a tour-de-force danced by three exquisite female dancers. Adult Female Dancer is Kay’s first and only autobiographical solo work, danced by Kay herself. Moving, honest and ultimately fully life- affirming. A feast of dance, full of honesty, beauty and joy. Expect to leave the theatre with the desire to dance!
