Preview: Josh Berry: Best Man, Theatre Royal Winchester

Comedian Josh Berry returns to Theatre Royal Winchester with his show, Best Man, on Saturday 22 March.

The comic takes to the stage to ask what positive masculinity is in a world where everyone knows what toxic masculinity is. He will explore the subject through his many impressions and characters as he tells the story of being his best friend’s best man – from organising a ‘progressive stag-do’ to the difficulties men face around positive emotional expression. He will also talk about how he hates runners and refused to become one!

Josh Berry is well known for his impressions, having performed on BBC Radio 4 show, Dead Ringers. He has been described as ‘a remarkable new talent’ by Rob Brydon; performed on TV including BBC’s popular Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; and he has written and produced his own award-nominated podcast. Josh has visited Theatre Royal Winchester before – with his show, Sexual Politics.

Best Man is an opportunity for audiences, male and female, to have a laugh at a concept that needs to be taken less seriously.

Josh Berry: Best Man will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Saturday 22 March at 7.30pm. For more information or to book tickets visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
