Play to the Crowd, the charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, is hosting a series of quizzes in the theatre foyer to raise funds for their artist development programme. Teams are invited to pit their wits against each other to answer the most general knowledge, theatre and pop culture questions for the ultimate bragging rights!
There will be six quizzes to take part in, starting with the first on Monday 24 March – The BIG ROYAL General Knowledge Quiz, which will ask teams to prove they know their Anne Boleyn from their Anne Robinson and their T-Rex from their T-Birds.
Each additional quiz will have a theme including theatre; movies; popular culture – relating to TV shows like Doctor Who, movies such as Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, video games and the like; Disney; and Harry Potter, and will take place in the theatre bar.
Each quiz will start at 7pm and last approximately two hours.
This is a fantastic opportunity for friends and family to swot up on their pop trivia and gather to enjoy a drink and some quality time together.
The money raised from the quizzes will support the artist development programme of Play to the Crowd – the charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair and Playmakers.
Entry costs £4 per person with a maximum of six people per team. Teams can book by visiting www.theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk/whats-on or visiting the Box Office or calling them on 01962 840440.
