A peace protest for Palestine will be held in Southampton city centre on Saturday, February 22nd.
Beginning at Guildhall Square at 12.30pm, the event is organised by Palestine Solidarity Campaign Southampton, who will be joined by The Red Line from Bournemouth Palestine Solidarity Movement.
The group will be bringing a symbolic red cloth which is up to half a kilometre long. There will then be a march through the city centre before returning to the Guildhall Square, where they will be launching new campaigns.
The current ceasefire in Gaza in fragile and campaigners believe it is important to keep the region in the public eye and and continue calling for lasting peace in the region.
