The K’s announce extensive UK tour dates

The K’s are back with new of a brand new album, lead single, and a wave of UK dates this spring and summer.

With sold out headline tours, various main stage festival shows and a #3 Official Charts Album, The K’s swiftly became one of the most exciting and successful new British bands of last year.

Their album, I Wonder If The World Knows?, was only kept off the top spot by The Libertines and Beyoncé, and was the UK’s second biggest debut of 2024.

Now they prepare to take everything one step further this year with their brilliant second album, Pretty On The Internet, and new single Breakdown In My Bedroom, out now, via LAB Records.

Breakdown In My Bedroom is the first track to be heard from Pretty On The Internet, which is produced by Grammy Award winner Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Dandy Warhols) and mixed by Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals, Nothing But Thieves). The album which is due to be released this summer is available to pre-order now here.

With an upbeat, indie influence and an honesty and vulnerability within the lyrics, Breakdown In My Bedroom is the perfect introduction to the new record.

Frontman, Jamie Boyle, opens up about the subject matter.

“Breakdown in My Bedroom was written as a reflection of my ongoing struggle to maintain mental stability when navigating through various situations,” he says. “It’s about that internal battle—the moments when anxiety takes over, and the idea of staying in my bedroom, locked away from the world, seems like a safer and more comfortable option than facing social interactions or confronting difficult situations.

“It’s strange, but there’s a part of me that sometimes chooses the isolation, even though I know it’s not the healthiest choice.

“The song dives into that feeling of being trapped in your own head, caught between the desire to escape and the need to push through. It’s a personal exploration of how, at times, it can feel easier to avoid the world than to face it head-on.”

2025 will also see The K’s back doing what they do best – performing live.

In March the four piece will play The British Music Embassy at SXSW in Texas as well as the UK’s emerging artists festival, The Great Escape. In April and May, the band headline their Pretty On The Internet Tour, giving fans a first taste of what’s to come from the album.

Tickets are on sale now HERE.

The K’s are Jamie Boyle (vocals/guitar), Ryan Breslin (guitar/keyboards), Dexter Baker (bass) and Nathan Peers (drums).
