Open auditions to take place for FRIENDS! The Musical Parody

Open auditions will take place for FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, which tours Mayflower Theatre from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 January 2026.

Producers of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, the hit New York and Las Vegas sensation, have announced that they will hold open auditions to discover new talent who might be able to play the iconic characters of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther.

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is a side-splitting musical comedy packed with all of the iconic moments from all 10 seasons of the beloved television series, recommended for audiences  aged 13+.

This uncensored, fast-paced production features an entirely original musical score and showcases the escapades of the world’s most famous group of twenty-somethings as they tackle the challenges of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

The creative team includes books and Lyrics by Bob and Tobly McSmith, music by Assaf Gleizne, and set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter.

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is produced by Mark Goucher, Matthew Gale, Oskar Eiriksson under license from Theatre Mogul. Originally produced in New York City by Lynn Shore Entertainment, Theater Mogul and McSmith Family Entertainment.

Featuring many of the most iconic moments from the beloved tv series, FRIENDS! The Musical Parody will be directed by Michael Gyngell (The Full Monty) with full casting to be announced in due course.

The auditions will take place in Cirencester and London later this month. Submissions for the open auditions should be made by sending a CV and headshot to auditions@markgoucher.com
