The Point and The House of Many Moons’ Christmas production, Cinderella’s Wellies, captivated students from Norwood Primary School on Thursday during an exclusive preview performance.
With its 10-day run at The Point, Eastleigh, which began on Saturday and runs through to New Year’s Eve – the show promises to bring festive cheer to audiences of all ages.
“We’re thrilled to offer young people free access to theatre,” said Artistic Director Charlotte Hall. “This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to the magic of live performance.”
Norwood Primary School pupils were full of excitement after experiencing the show. The students shared their thoughts after the event, saying ‘It was like a fairy tale mixed with a movie,’ ‘My favourite part was when Cinderella got poofed away!’, and ‘It was pretty special to me because it looked so realistic.’
Cinderella’s Wellies reimagines the timeless fairy tale with a unique twist, a time-traveling adventure set to an 80s-inspired score, featuring musical numbers, puppetry, and all the beloved moments from the classic Cinderella story, the production is sure to bring laughter, joy, and a dose of holiday magic to audiences.
