Charlie Smith to play final gig of the year at Unity Brewing alongside local artists

Acoustic singer-songwriter Charlie Smith plays his final show of the year on November 29th at Unity Brewing in Southampton.

Charlie, who comes from Romsey, is a solo acoustic guitar and vocals artist, who has built up a strong reputation in the area, having hosted his own shows at venues such as The Railway Inn, The Attic, and Crosfield Hall. He has also worked with promoters such as Weekend Offender and DHP family to play gigs at venues such as Fifth Hants Volunteer Arms, Portsmouth, and The Grace, London.

In October 2023, he embarked on his first solo tour of northern England, performing in Leicester, Liverpool, and Stockton.

His most recent ‘DIY Tour 24’ was built around showcasing local musicians and took him along the south of England (Brighton, Portsmouth, London, and Southampton).

As a recording artist, Charlie has focused on homemade DIY recording and has amassed over half a million streams on Spotify. He has also charted 17 times on the Apple Music charts – his highest position was number #15 in the Argentina Singer/Songwriter charts!

On 29th November at Unity Brewing he will be playing an independent show that he is organising and hosting. Charlie will be joined on the night by four other local artists: River Knight, Becky Brown, Simon Maggs, and Anna Muir.

Tickets are just £5 with doors at 6 pm and music due to start at 6:30 pm. Unity Brewing will have a full section of beers that have been brewed in the very taproom where we will be performing. Also available will be guest beers and craft beer cans.
