Audiences interested in learning about other people’s cultures may enjoy Echoes by Mi Flamenco at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 14 November.
Echoes features emotive flamenco dancing and soul-stirring music and song performed by skilled performers – with engaging film part of an immersive multimedia experience.
It combines personal reflections of Spain – the wild and beautiful, and the cliched – with the power of flamenco dance – giving audiences a very particular vision of the country through Mi Flamenco’s lens.
Mi Flamenco is a dance company that believes in inspirational performance and outreach – seeking out groups who could benefit from access to arts activity.
It holds dances classes for beginners and intermediate flamenco dancers, workshops for established flamenco dancers and musicians, flamenco guitar classes, plus schools’ activity.
