Family audiences will be left enchanted by the story of two strong and curious twins in The Chronicles of Atom & Luna, which comes to Theatre Royal Winchester from Sunday 13 October.
The Chronicles of Atom & Luna tells the story of extra special twins, Atom and Luna. Atom can talk to the birds, Luna can control the moon, they never break the rules and never go into the wood. But now the forest is calling to them and so their journey begins – an adventure that will change their lives forever.
Set in a world full of myths and fairytales, The Chronicles of Atom & Luna follows the siblings as they embark on an epic adventure through nature.
This live stage show is written by British poet, stand-up, broadcaster, playwright, screenwriter and children’s author, Murray Lachlan Young.
It is brought to the stage by Funnelwick Limb who develop cross-platform storytelling work, primarily but not exclusively for family audiences – combining live performance with VR experiences, games and audio content with school books. In association with Theatre Porto, in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire – a new, specialist theatre that is dedicated to stories inspired by childhood and being young; and Eastern Angles – a theatre company that creates and tours regional stories by artists and community groups from East Anglia.
The Chronicles of Atom & Luna may be popular with fans of the Grimm Fairy Tales, Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials, and Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s stories.
The Chronicles of Atom & Luna will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Sunday 13 – Monday 14 October at various times. For more information or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
