MAST Mayflower Studios are pleased to announce an extraordinary line-up of sporting icons coming to host audiences in Studio 1. From the electrifying energy of the boxing ring to the thrilling drama of the football pitch and the intense skill of cricket, these sporting icons have captured the hearts of many.

An Evening with Carl Froch

Date: 17 October 2024

Froch’s stellar career saw him hold multiple world titles and compete against some of the best fighters of their generation, including Jean Pascal, Mikkel Kessler, Andre Dirrell, Lucian Bute, and George Groves. He is widely regarded as one of the UK’s greatest boxers, retiring with a record of thirty-three wins, twenty-four of which were by knockout. Sustaining only two losses in his entire career.

During the evening’s event, Froch will be sharing his inspiring journey to the top of the boxing world, recounting stories of his early days in the sport and his rise to world champion status.

Audience members will also have the chance to participate in a Q&A with Carl. VIP meet and greet tickets are also available.

An Evening with Paul Merson

Date: 9 January 2025

The football star will discuss his illustrious career with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and England.

He’ll talk about games, dressing room/training ground stories, managers, fall outs and everything you wanted to know about playing for a successful football club. Merson will open up about his experiences both on and off the pitch, his addictions, his media career and so much more.

Paul’s wit and charisma makes an entertaining night and engaging evening for all football fans.  Talksport and ex Arsenal team mate Perry Groves will host an evening and a Q&A with a chance for the audience to pose their questions to Paul.

England hat trick hero from the 1966 World Cup win is back by popular demand after last year’s successful tour. He will talk amusingly about his illustrious West Ham &England career.
