Actress Su Pollard celebrates 50 years in show business with her new show, Still Fully Charged, at Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 20 September.
The legendary actress, known for her appearances on TV’s Opportunity Knocks, Hi-de-Hi!, and her time spent performing in the West End, Su takes to the stage with her new one-woman show that celebrates the characters she has played, the friends and colleagues she has made, and the music she has performed and recorded during her career.
With stories, songs, backstage secrets, even the appearance of one or two familiar characters.
A national treasure, Su has starred in some of the country’s best-known TV shows, and appeared on stages globally, in some of the world’s most-loved musicals – including Godspell, Annie and Little Shop of Horrors. She is also an award-winner – winning last year’s Panto Award for Lifetime Achievement and Rear of the Year in 1998! Su has more recently featured on Celebrity Masterchef, GimmeGimmeGimme and Would I Lie To You?
She will be joined on stage by her musical director, Steven Edis, for an evening of laughter, songs and stories.
