Audiences are in for a treat as Macbeth by National Production Company is back at Theatre Royal Winchester – from Tuesday 17 to Wednesday 18 September.
Macbeth is set in the murky Dark Ages and tells of a man who is told by his three sisters that he is fated to become King of Scotland – beginning a series of events that lead to the destruction of kings, friends and souls as he and his Lady try to cling on to the tainted clown.
This retelling of the William Shakespeare classic is a full-scale production by National Production Company – an award-nominated theatre company based in London’s West End who produce critically acclaimed productions, shows and workshops for schools including Terry Dreary’s Twisted Tales.
Macbeth will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Tuesday 17 – Wednesday 18 September at various times. Recommended age: 11+. Warning: There will be use of haze, intermittent flashing lights (not strobes), loud noises, choreographed fights and use of stage blood.
