Fans of singers and musicians who put their own unique spin on popular songs will enjoy an evening with Steampunk Orchestra on Friday 13 September.

Audiences are taken on a journey through five decades of iconic music, against a backdrop of vintage Edison bulbs, when the orchestra – decked out in steampunk finery – cover beloved classics from rock and indie legends and pop royalty; the likes of Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Kate Bush, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Led Zeppelin and Tom Petty.

This unique event is a chance for music lovers to step into a place where the classical elegance of the steampunk aesthetic – a design style inspired by Victorian-era industrialism – meets the energy of classic rock, indie and pop anthems – performed by an 8-piece band made up of singers, electric bass, electric guitar, percussion, violin and French horn.

This epic concert opens a fantastical world where gadgets, gears and innovation collide with melodies and musical excellence.

Steampunk Orchestra will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 13 September at 7.30pm. For more information or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
