The Snuts come to Bournemouth this autumn

Off the back of a rapturous main stage performance at TRNSMT, The Snuts announced their biggest ever headline show to date at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena on Friday, December 6th. It will be the culmination of a string of live dates, bringing them to Bournemouth’s 02 Academy in November.

The announcement adds to what has been a truly phenomenal 2024 already, seeing the release of their spectacular #2-charting third album Millennials on the band’s newly set up label Happy Artist Records – via The Orchard. Featuring ‘Gloria’, ‘Dreams’, ‘NPC’ and ‘Millionaires’, the album was branded “a total crowd pleaser” by Dork and “an album destined to seal their foothold on the main stages” by the NME – something which has truly come to roost. From start to finish, top to bottom, Millennials was made entirely to The Snuts’ script.

It’s also been a spectacular year of touring, seeing the band bring the party to Glastonbury’s Other Stage on the Friday, working their way through the States in March, sold-out Japanese and Australian headline jaunts in May, as well as topping the bill at Liverpool’s Sound City Festival. There was also two very special album launch shows at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom in February, as well as this weekend’s electric hometown set on the main stage at TRNSMT Festival.

The forthcoming arena show has been years in the making. Coming through the Scottish grassroots ranks, from The Clachan in Whitburn & Fauldhouse Cricket Club, to King Tuts, and multiple sellouts at The Barrowlands, November’s OVO Hydro show will be a career-defining moment, capping off a November UK headline tour that will see eleven shows across the UK.

The Snuts have chart-topping and top 3 albums under their belts, songs that attack subjects affecting the youth of today, and an arsenal of adoring fans up and down the country. As these four lads from Whitburn, West Lothian vowed four years ago, The Snuts wanted to be risky. And with Millennials, the millennial men of The Snuts have followed through on that promise.

This is a band that have followed up, changed up and – are fully, wholeheartedly, joyfully – revved up.
