West End Magic came about after a group of young magicians started meeting in the early 90s to create card tricks and illusions to perform to the public. In 2007, in Deptford, southeast London, some of those members reformed for A Night of Magic – a show that evolved into West End Magic, which is now performed at the Leicester Square Theatre, close to venues that once hosted stars such as Houdini in the early 1900s – magic’s heyday!
