RunThrough has to announced the return of the Southampton Running Festival, set to take place on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, following the success of their event this year.
Participants will experience a scenic route beginning and ending on Southampton Common. The course takes runners through diverse landscapes, including woodland, grassland, ponds, wetlands, lakes, and parkland.
Southampton Common is designated as a “Site of Special Scientific Interest” and serves as an excellent venue for running, walking, and wildlife watching. Its rich biodiversity and well-maintained paths create a perfect backdrop for a memorable running event.

The Southampton Running Festival is designed to cater to runners of all levels, from seasoned athletes to first-time participants. With multiple race categories, there is something for everyone, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
RunThrough will organise and deliver 270 events in 2024, with 285,000 participants, including the Guildford 10k and Junior Race, the Frome Running Festival and the Kempton Park 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Juniors
