Following the release of their critically acclaimed new album Frog In Boiling Water, DIIV will go on a run of EU / UK tour dates to take place in winter 2024, bringing them to Southampton’s Engine Rooms.
Frog In Boiling Water has received critical acclaim for its atmospheric and emotionally resonant soundscapes. Critics have praised the album’s introspective lyrics and complex production, with DIY describing the album as “truly special.” Elsewhere, Stereogum made the album their Album Of The Week calling the band “a modern standard bearer to a younger generation”, whereas CLASH say the album is “as gorgeous a record as you’ll hear this year”.
The band showcased their new material for the first time in the UK earlier this year playing across the country including a sold out date at Kentish Town Forum in London. The new tour will follow an extensive run of dates in the US across June / July / August, and will take place around their shows with Fontaines D.C. at Alexandra Place, London in November.
