This week Southampton sees the continuation of the Southampton International Boat Show and Music in the City, with musicians giving up their time to perform for free at a variety of venues across the city.
Other live music sees Ferocious Dog bringing their own vibrant brand of Celtic-folk infused punk rock to The 1865 on September 22nd, Ivor Novello award-winning singer-songwriter Scott Matthews,comes to The Brook on September 21st and Iraina Mancini will be at The 1865 on the 20th, following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album.
Exciting contemporary dance takes centre stage with Ailey 2 coming to the Mayflower Theatre on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 September.
Popular TV show Loose Women comes to The Mayflower stage, while Captain Sandy from reality series Below Deck Mediterranean will be bringing Captain Sandy Live to MAST Mayflower Studios both this weekend.
Further afield, fans of the classic action movie, Die Hard, can enjoy an acclaimed retelling of the story when Yippee Ki Yay comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 20 September, while the theatre hosts Axel Blake, bringing his observational stand-up to the stage on Saturday 23 September.
Community events include a mental health walk on Southampton Common.
