Having released their latest (and 7th studio) album On A Mission in June this summer, Gentleman’s Dub Club have been enjoying their regular summer of festivals around the UK and Europe including another storming set at Glastonbury and now the band are heading back out on the road with a 14-date tour taking in London,, Southampton, Bristol and more with support coming from Kiko Bun.
Since their formation in early 2006, Gentleman’s Dub Club have made a name for themselves as one of the most respected names in dub music. GDC have been on tour for nearly 14 years, and are festival favourites across the UK and Europe, and have found themselves regularly playing to crowds of 10,000 or more. Every UK show (including every major centre in the country) is a sell-out performance.
Their unique take on dub music, and their prolific output has solidified their position as stalwarts of the UK dub/ska/reggae music scene, and has seen them consistently championed by David Rodigan and most of his contemporaries at Radio 1. They have worked with Brad Ellis (Nextmen), Fat Freddy’s Drop, Prince Fatty, Hollie Cook, Lady Chann, Horseman, Joe Dukie, Shapeshifter, Mongos Hifi.
Gentleman’s Dub Club will be at Southampton Engine Rooms on November 16th.
