Southampton indie rockers Pioneers have announced the forthcoming release of their new single, “Cold For Zero,” out on August 1st.
This track, reminiscent of the early 2000s indie scene, pays homage to Pioneers’ early years while also exploring the universal theme of navigating adulthood and the desire to retain a youthful spirit.
“Cold For Zero” delves into the emotions and experiences of reaching your mid-twenties, aiming to capture the essence of growing up while still relishing in the thrill of making mistakes and embracing the present moment. The song reminds listeners that it’s alright to enjoy life and find joy in the journey, regardless of societal expectations.
The new single showcases Pioneers’ blend of indie rock, characterised by infectious melodies, energetic guitar riffs, and heartfelt lyrics.
