It’s a big week for music in Southampton this week, with the mighty Arctic Monkeys coming to the Ageas Bowl on Wednesday and this weekend it’s just a short hop across the water for the Isle of Wight Festival, featuring the likes of George Ezra, Robbie Williams, Pulp and much, much more. Meanwhile Brix Smith will be down the road in Portsmouth.
For anyone looking for some retro fun, there’s also The Nostalgia Show at Broadlands this weekend (pictured). Meanwhile, the Wilder Southampton Festival continues across the city throughout the month.
On stage, Griff Rhys Jones is at Theatre Royal Winchester, as is A Midsummer Night’s Dream while The Mayflower boasts The King and I.
