Coming to Theatre Royal Winchester on Saturday 22 April, The Counterfeit Beatles have been performing for 25 years and they’ve won local and global fans after playing everywhere from Victorious Festival in Portsmouth to venues in Europe, and around the world from India and Thailand to South Korea.
They also undertook two of the highest profile performances ever by a Beatles tribute – Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, where they headlined with Coldplay and Steve Winwood to an audience of 80,000; and in the £300,000 stage production, Beatlemania, in Thessaloniki, Greece, for some of Disney’s award-winning directors.
The Counterfeit Beatles perform with equipment that is exact replicas of the original band’s kit and their show features costume changes that match each era. The Counterfeit Beatles’ production is a homage to the band that ushered in the new era of pop phenomenon.
