Two new show arrive at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this week: Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical opens tonight (February 14) – for a preview click here and look out for the review coming soon. The cast are pictured top in Southampton earlier today. Then Strictly Ballroom: The Musical, starring Kevin Clifton, opens on the 20th (click here for more information).
Elsewhere on the stage, The Greatest Magician comes to the Theatre Royal Winchester (click here for a preview). while Charlie & Stan is at MAST Mayflower Studios, an 80-minute jam-packed show is non-stop entertainment, and tells the true(ish) story of the greatest comedy double act that ‘almost’ was; Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel (the Laurel of Laurel and Hardy fame).
