People’s Pride Southampton are seeking sponsorship for this year’s Party in the Park festival, set to take place on June 3 and 4 in the city’s Palmerston Park.
Last year’s event – the first time it had run – was pronounced a huge success, exceeding expectations with some 8,500 people attending the event, which included a march, live music and more (click here to read more about it).
This year’s event is themed ‘This Is Me’ and will feature headliners Southampton-based band Hunting Hearts, tribute act Maybe GaGa, drag artist Dixie Normous and many other artists, as well as a quiet zone, kids’ area, teens area, adult bouncy castle, speakers, food stalls, community village and more.
The organisers strive to make the LGBTQ+ event as inclusive and accessible as possible. There will be a BSL interpreter on the main stage, a Mobiloo accessible toilet system, mental health first aiders, a sensory room and more.
A range of sponsorship packages are available. For more information, email: jake@peoplespridesouthampton.com
