Author Alex Bourke helps people become vegan and find plant-based food anywhere. He founded the vegetarian group at Southampton University and is a former director, chair and national media spokesperson for The Vegan Society as well as working at UK vegan campaigning organisation Viva! Alex has published more than 20 vegan travel guidebooks to the UK and Europe, 100 newspaper and magazine articles and explained and debated veganism on radio and tv. His latest book, The Vegan Guide is a complete guide to going vegan.
Alex will be in person at Southampton’s October Books on Saturday, January 14 at 11am for a Veganuary event.
It’s for anyone doing Veganuary, meat reducers wanting to reduce a bit more, vegetarians and vegans in search of new ideas, anyone who has a vegan/veggie in your family and anyone who cares about animals, health or the environment.
This is a free entry event, but donations can be made on the day to help with costs.
Please register via Eventbrite if you wish to attend so the organisers know how many people to expect: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/…/veganuary-the-vegan…
