Camp Bestival is a music festival suitable for the whole family, and with two events scheduled for 2023 – Dorset and Shropshire – it’s looking to be a spectacular summer.
Camp Bestival Dorset, which runs from 27 to 30 July 2023 at Lulworth Castle, has revealed a star-studded line-up for its 15th birthday, which will be animal themed as they partner with with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for 2023.
Grace Jones, Southampton born Craig David and The Kooks are among those headlining the Dorset date – they’ll be joined by Scouting for Girls, Todd Terry and David Rodigan.
A festival inside the festival, Caravanserai will transport festival goers at Lulworth Cove to another world, from trapeze artists to brass bands and everything in between – no trip to Camp Bestival is complete without a visit!
One of the hottest acts of the year, Confidence Man will also be bringing their feel-good party anthems to both dates, alongside festival-favourites, The Cuban Brothers, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, East 17, Mel C, Sam Ryder – and many more!
Younger attendees can look forward to entertainment from Horrible Histories, Dick & Dom, Mr Tumble and Cosmic Kids Yoga.
Entertainment will also be on show from The Red Devils Parachute Display Team (weather dependent), Cirque Bijou, Wall of Death and Circus Raj, among others.
For the Shropshire event, which is scheduled for 17 to 20 August 2023 at Weston Park with a nature and wellbeing theme, Rudimental and Primal Scream are the headliners, with Groove Armada, T’Pau and Human League also taking to the stage.
Weston Park will welcome the Big Camp Fancy Dress Parade – a costume party with no theme, whether you make a costume, buy it, cobble it together from what’s in your cupboard, or visit the Dressing Up tent on site, the parade will be a spectacular feast for the eyes and soul!
