The new Southampton Sustainability Directory will be launched at the Big Green Event tomorrow (July 30) at o O2 Guildhall.
The choices we make about where we spend our money, how we get around and how we work together in community can make a big impact on the health and wealth of our city.
The aim of Southampton Sustainability Directory is to offer help with making those choices and to highlight just how much great work is going on in the city which supports a lower carbon, nature rich future for us all.
The directory is currently being updated and the organisers are inviting us all to add even more great enterprises, groups and organisations to it. Stop by and see them at the Big Green Event and help make the directory even bigger and better. There’ll be a map to help you add your ideas.
Clare Diaper, a founding member of Southampton Climate Action Network (SoCAN) and director of Southampton Collective said: “With the recent extreme weather conditions focusing our attention on the climate crisis, we all need to take what action we can to reduce our carbon emissions. The Southampton Sustainability Directory can provide everyone with a selection of simple steps to take. Together we SoCAN!”
The Directory can be found here: https://e-voice.org.uk/southamptonsustainabilitydirectory/
and is supported by Transition Southampton and Southampton Collective
