There is no Planet B
Sat, 14 March 2020. 19:00 – 20:30. University of Southampton, Highfield Campus

Ask the experts! An interactive panel will discuss the human driven phenomena of climate change as part of the Southampton Science & Engineering Festival (SOTSEF) which runs 6th – 15th March 2020 at the University of Southampton. They will talk about the main global and local impacts from climate change, what’s happening now and in the future, and what we can do to make a positive difference. We are invited to pose our questions and raise our concerns, making this a unique opportunity to learn the facts and make better decisions and choices.

Expected on the panel are Prof Rachel Mills, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences; Prof Denise Baden, Professor of Sustainable Business within Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton; Emily Grounds from Final Straw Solent campaign group; Prof Simon Kemp, School of Geography and Environmental Science; and Prof Craig Hutton, Professor of Sustainability Science, School of Geography and Environmental Sciences.

The only way of not making it worse is to learn what to change to make it better.

This event is free to attend. Tickets are available from Eventbrite. Along with up to the minute details of the event, including directions.
